Legrena is the last sheltered bay before the cape, and it feels more like an island beach than an Attica one: pebbles, pines, calm turquoise water, and a small settlement that barely registers as development. Boats to Kea leave from the harbour nearby.
It is a good final stop on a drive south — quiet, clean, and close enough to Sounion that you can swim here and be at the temple for sunset.
Getting there
About 31 km south of Glyfada and 42 km from central Athens, roughly five minutes from Cape Sounion. Car or the Sounio bus route; parking near the beach is straightforward.
