The place
Ark occupies one of the best addresses on the coast: the Asteria complex on the Glyfada peninsula, where the sand, the sea, and the sunset are effectively part of the room. It runs as an all-day venue, which on this coast means coffee and lunch by the water shading into dinner and drinks as the light goes.
The cooking is Greek with a contemporary hand, and the setting does a great deal of the work — this is a place to book for an occasion, or for a first evening on the Riviera when you want the view to make the argument.
Getting there
At Asteria Glyfada on Gr. Lambraki Street, on the seafront at the southern edge of Glyfada, about 13 km from central Athens. There is parking at the complex, and the tram passes nearby on its way to Voula.
