Nalu sits inside the Akti tou Iliou complex in Alimos, the long organised beach that serves the western half of the southern suburbs. Its register is daytime: sun, sea, food, and music that stays in the background rather than taking over.
Because Akti tou Iliou is the closest full-service beach to central Athens, Nalu works well for anyone who wants a proper beach day without committing to the drive south past Vouliagmeni.
Getting there
At Akti tou Iliou on Poseidonos Avenue in Alimos, about 6 km north of Glyfada and 8 km from central Athens. The tram and coastal buses both serve the complex, and there is parking at the entrance.
